Prices vary as they depend on the locations; but they normally start at about 25 USD per day, including the driver. If you plan to hire a taxi going to Phnom Penh city or other places in Cambodia, you can arrange one through travel agencies scattered in the city.
Buses in Siem Reap are used for other destinations. These are the most common transport when heading to other cities in Cambodia. Bus tickets can be arranged a day prior to the departure so as to reserve seats ahead. You can also arrange the bus agencies to pick you up from your hostel to the station for a minimal fee.
